Our commitment to Net-Zero
The urgency of bringing solutions to market has never been so important!
There is a new target (IPCC special report) to keep the average global temperature rise to be below 1.5 degrees before the end of the century and to reach net-zero by the middle of the century.
The planet is now 1 Degree Celsius warmer than it was 160 years ago – this might not sound a lot, but that warming is having a big effect on the world around us.
Some scientists believe that this target could be accomplished by 2040. However, targets will be broken this century unless huge cuts in carbon emissions take place.
So, to help precipitate this commitment AVI will aim to play its part, by actively creating partnerships and seeking to work with organisations that are involved in revolutionary electrification technologies that will enable the lowering of carbon emissions.
