The Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD) is a growing sector covering power components such as Motors, Voltage Converters / Inverters, Drives, Batteries & Control Systems.

Because these devices are mostly required to operate in safety-critical applications, the proper verification testing of these components are essential.

So, in response to this, we aim to assist companies to help meet the requirements of particular functional safety standards. AVi will therefore embark upon a program of developing test systems to address some of these challenges.

The unit(s) will emulate test conditions suitable for the verification of power conversion devices such as Inverters, Batteries, Chargers & Motors.
